Photoshop, Illustrator & Image Manipulation

Quito Butterfly I was asked to take a well known landscape image of Quito, Ecuador, add a butterfly, and through lighting and color, give it a dramatic feel.
I have a lot of experience adjusting, enhancing, manipulating and color correcting photos and Illustrations. Below are just a few examples of the work I have done.
Illustrator File to Animation #1
I received the Adobe Illustrator file from the artist (right).
I separated and manipulated the layers and objects in the illustration to create a special Valentine animation (below) that was used to promote Angels on Earth magazine's February issue. I used both Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.

Illustrator File to Animation #2
I received the Adobe Illustrator file cover design (right).
I separated and manipulated the layers and objects in the illustration to create a festive Christmas animation (below) that was used to promote Guideposts. It was sent to their many customers and subscribers. I used Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.

Illustrator File to Animation #3
This is just one of 26 pages I animated for a children's book. I received the Adobe Illustrator file (right) for each page. I separated and manipulated the layers and objects in the illustrations to create movement and bring each page to life. I used Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.

Mysterious Covers I was regularly asked to enhance and often construct scenes for the covers of Mysterious Ways magazine. Above are four of my favorites.

Obsession Reflection As a way to illustrate the story, I added the
reflection of the actual type of train this man was obsessed taking photos of.

Miraculous Sparkles In this photo I was given the task of adding
sparkles to the scene, giving it a more magical tone.

Angel Hymns I was asked to “re-invent” this illustration (1) of an angel playing the violin for the cover of Angels on Earth magazine. I added texture, completely re-colored it (2), and added detail to the wings (3). I really like how the final cover turned out.

Steam Punk City This image was created for a Steam Punk video. I needed to build a dark, dystopian, floating industrial city. I combined two stock images, then altered the lighting dramatically; and added rain to give it a Blade Runner atmosphere.

Space Walk To illustrate this story, I stripped out the astronaut's face
from within the helmet, and added the reflection of the sun, earth and moon.

Typographic Imagery I created a series of images like this one, where I incorporated typography within the image. Here the title becomes the letters on a headstone.

Mysterious Figure This photo needed to illustrate a Film Noir style story.
The author’s face, lighting and texture were all enhanced.
